Welcome Letter

The Toronto Amateur Sailing Club is family orientated, our aim is to offer sailing classes to suit beginners, intermediates and advanced sailors.

Members encourage sailors to progress through the classes and to support members who wish to compete at the various levels on offer. This club has produced numerous champions at State, National and World level. Unsure if you will like sailing? TASC offers a three week trial period prior to accepting your registration. A weekly race fee is still payable to cover the day to day running costs. Most information can be found on the TASC website, however if you have any unanswered questions please contact me; David Wilde. 0481 317 305 or davidwilde64@gmail.com.

The TASC fleet currently consists of; Junior Sabots (2up per boat, ages 6-11) Senior Sabots (1up per boat, ages 11-16) MG, Miscellaneous (Bring along whatever class of dinghy – your always welcome) Skates (2 Seniors) We recommend sailors supply their own boat, however club boats are available for a small fee on a short term user basis. Members are asked to assist with the day to day running and maintenance via a roster as well as attend at least two working bees per year. Further information can be found on our website; www.tasc.org.au.
