The Flying Ant is a sloop rig, open type sailing skiff with a main, jib and spinnaker and the crew on trapeze. 
 
Its high performance hull shape makes it the ideal intermediate dinghy for young sailors graduating from Sabots, Sky Riders or Manly Juniors.

The Flying Ant has a strong nationwide class association that runs zone, state and Australian championships every season.   The class has produced many champions at Toronto.
