TASC Covid-19 Procedures

SAILORS, FAMILY, FRIENDS, VOLUNTEERS and SPECTATORS

  •  Don’t attend if unwell (even if it’s “just a sniffle”). High-risk participants should consider following government guidelines (including “stay at home”). Don’t attend if you have been in contact with a known or suspected Covid-19 case, have travelled overseas in the last 14 days or to a reported case location in NSW (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates ).
  •  Avoid physical contact (no hugs, handshakes, high fives). Hand sanitise after unavoidable contact.
  •  Maintain physical distance (1.5 metres) wherever possible.
  •  Avoid sharing personal equipment, food, drinks, etc; hand sanitise after using any shared equipment.
  •  Use our Web App to comply with contact tracing requirements. Scan the QR code below with your phone’s camera, tap on the pop-up link and submit your details.

COMPETITORS PLEASE NOTE: CONTACTLESS SIGN IN AND SIGN OUT WITH THE DESIGNATED COVID-19 MARSHALL IS ALSO REQUIRED WHEN TAKING TO THE WATER AND RETURNING. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN DISQ UALIFICATION FROM ONE OR MORE RACES IN A RACING SESSION.

Once you have scanned the above QR-Code it will open a link to the web app. You can then add this web app as a "Home Screen" shortcut.

iPad or iPhone

  1. Launch “Safari” app.  This does not work from the “Chrome” app.
  2. Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap “Go.”
  3. Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
  4. Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
  5. Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.

Android

  1. Launch “Chrome” app.
  2. Open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
  4. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
